How We Work
The project “Establishment of Khmer-Japanese Friendship High School and Continuing School Supplies” will provide support for the rehabilitation and development of the education sector in Cambodia after being devastated by the civil war. More than two decades ago. The purpose of the project is also to reach an agreement with the Ministry of Education, Youth, and Sports Palace to establish an educational institution from the lower secondary level to the upper secondary level. The project will cover 20 communes in Preah Sdach Peam Chor district, Kampong Krabek, Mesang, Ba Phnom, and Prey Veng province. The benefits of the project include:
School Building
Each year, we will provide a school building with 6 rooms made of wood, a tiled roof, and brick walls, and bring study materials such as pens, pencils, notebooks, desks, chairs, blackboards, bicycles, etc. Distribute to 3 schools, including primary schools in Prey Veng province, at least once a year.
Allowance
Additional support for the salary of each village secondary school teacher is USD 68 per person and the secondary school salary per person is USD 70 per person. This is the reason why the learning process of the students of Japan Friendship High School takes place throughout the day (morning and afternoon).
Good learning results
Graduation exam results will get a high average. Recruitment of outstanding students to study in Japan to 8 per year. Provide vocational training for students who are unable to continue their education to higher education.
